Solution:
Stark Tech’s equipment business unit designed a multi-step solution that renovated the space, including installment of a raised floor with redundant UPS systems, and supported future expansion plans. The University’s Data Center expanded into the adjacent space to host IT customers from other institutions and area businesses.

Application:
The initial phase included a 2×200 kw NG MPS system located in the basement of the renovated building. The Generator bus supported Life Safety and the main data center using an LS ATS, a main IT ATS that supported the UPS and AC systems.

The second phase installed a third MG200 to support the co-location data center. The MG200 provided redundancy to the main data center. A new ATS was also added to support LS loads in an adjacent space.
