Buffalo, NY – Stark Tech, a leader in facility and energy optimization, has recently expanded its board of directors as a Financial Expert. Included in those additions is Alexis Becker, Director at Freed Maxick. She is the Accounting Firm’s Accounting and Advisory Services Practice Leader.

She joins the board to bring outside expertise and leadership in financial planning and analysis. Stark has seen tremendous growth over the last 10 years both organically and through acquisitions. Alexis will help guide the board in evaluating current and future investments, guiding on strategy to improve profitability of the company, and examining and advising on efficiencies within the company. She will lead Stark’s audit committee.
Alexis has extensive professional compliance and consulting experience gained from working collaboratively with an array of clients. She has deep functional experience gained from her various roles within a global hospitality conglomerate. While there, she evolved the internal audit function from a unit level compliance driven function to an enterprise risk-focused function. She also built the organization’s revenue management function and consolidated siloed subsidiary FP&A functions into a centralized shared service function.
“Alexis’ experience and expertise will be a great finance expert asset to the Stark Tech Board, as we strive for foundational governance with operational practicality across our business units,” said Tim Geiger, President of Stark Tech.
