Stark Tech Acquires Jersey State Controls

Stark Tech is excited to announce that it has acquired Jersey State Controls, a facility automation provider serving New Jersey. Jersey State Controls is an EcoXpert in DDC and HVAC controls, protective systems integration, and the company is known in the New Jersey market for delivering high-quality products with outstanding service. The company was incorporated in 1983.

The acquisition brings new territory and additional customers to Stark Tech’s core Building Solutions business. With the acquisition, Stark Tech will be licensed as an HVAC-R and electrical contractor for all of New Jersey. JSC is a qualified New Jersey DPMC contractor and is a team of approximately 75.

JSC’s service business offers bundled solutions for HVAC control systems, preventative maintenance programs, remote monitoring and startup services for HVAC equipment manufacturers, including AAON, Airedale and Daiken. The team also offers preventative and emergency service for chillers, rooftop units, terminal equipment and compressor changeouts.

Marquis projects completed by JSC’s construction team include Red Bull Arena, a professional soccer stadium; multiple hospital and healthcare facilities, including Hackensack University Medical Center; other projects include McGuire Air Force Base, the County of Essex Hall of Records and the new Family Courthouse. Their clients also include several school systems, including Jersey City’s Board of Education, the second largest school district in the State.
